What are the restrictions on tire repair?

Any puncture less than 1/2 inch from the start of the internal steel belt on the shoulder or sidewall of the tire cannot be repaired (highlighted in red). A tire puncture greater than 1/4 inch (or 6mm) cannot be repaired. A new tire replacement is needed if a puncture exceeds this limit.

Can someone come out to change a tire?

Yes, it's possible to have someone come out to change a tire for you. You can call roadside assistance services like Tactical Towing and Roadside, and/ or local towing services. Some companies even offer mobile tire repair, bringing the service to your location. You can also call the police, especially if you're in a dangerous or traffic-prone area, as they are trained to change tires and can help with safety measures. 

How long does tire repair take?

Usually speaking, flat tires can be repaired in less than 30 minutes. However, time may vary if additional parts are needed or if the repair requires more extensive work. Most technicians have a variety of tools and experience that allow them to work quickly and efficiently.

What would disqualify a tire for being able to be repaired?
